Vegas Black Pride® exists to uplift and celebrate LGBTQ+ communities through culturally rooted Pride programming, wellness resources, and unapologetic visibility. Founded by Johanna P. Drop The Guns Pick Up A Ball - Annual Gun Violence Awareness Event
Drop The Guns Pick Up A Ball Game” is held annually during our Black Pride Weeknd. Johanna P. Perez created this event to bring awareness to gun violence as her own mother’s life was taken due to gun violence. Johanna was only 7. Her mom left behind 6 kids her being the second oldest. The game utilizes Influencers to encourage sportsmanship, physical health, and teamwork while discouraging gun violence among youth.
